Rune Hero Alpha Test

We are excited to announce that the Rune Hero Alpha Test will officially begin. This test will involve 1,400 players, offering you the first chance to experience the core features and combat systems of the game.

Test Rules and Details:

During this Alpha Test, players will have the option to control either a Mage or a Berserker, embarking on an adventure to challenge dungeons. By defeating enemies, players will collect Rune Shards, which will be used to rank participants. Both Mages and Berserkers will have separate leaderboards, and 300 winners from each class will be selected based on their rankings.

Test Duration:

Start Time: October 18th at 12:00 AM UTC
End Time: October 27th at 12:00 AM UTC

Test Rewards:

The top 300 players from both the Mage and Berserker leaderboards will receive 1 Genesis Whitelist spot each.

Community Tournament:

We are also introducing a Community Tournament in this Alpha Test. Players can optionally include their community name when creating a character to represent their community.

Summary of Rules:

The top 100 players from both the Mage and Berserker leaderboards will be grouped by community. Communities with more players in the top 100 will rank higher. If tied, the highest individual player ranking within the community will determine the winner.

Community Rewards:

The top three communities will share 20 Genesis Whitelist spots, distributed as follows:

1st place: 10 Genesis Whitelist spots
2nd place: 7 Genesis Whitelist spots
3rd place: 3 Genesis Whitelist spots

New Character: Berserker

The Berserker is officially joining the roster! This melee character specializes in high burst AOE damage and requires precise positioning sense.

Wielding a giant sword, the Berserker has longer casting times but delivers devastating blows upon hitting the enemy.

  • Whirlwind Slash: The Warrior spins with a two-handed sword, creating a fierce wind that deals sustained damage to surrounding targets, sweeping away enemies.
  • Fury Slash: Unleashes a series of rapid sword swings, dealing damage to enemies in front of the Warrior in a sweeping attack.
  • Charge: The Warrior dashes with lightning speed to a target location, quickly closing in on enemies.
  • Breakthrough Strike: Strikes with a sweeping blow, damaging and knocking back enemies in a small area in front of the Warrior, breaking through enemy lines.
  • Leap Strike: Leaps to a target location, dealing massive area damage and stunning enemies nearby upon landing.
  • Cataclysmic Vengeance: After a brief channel, the Warrior strikes forward with immense force, dealing high damage in a large area. The Warrior can slowly move during the channel.
  • Ultimate – Exorcism: The Warrior charges their sword, then unleashes a devastating slash, cutting through all enemies in front. The skill’s damage increases with the charge time.

  • Set System: The new set system offers bonuses when equipping full sets. Each character currently has two exclusive sets with additional bonuses.
  • Equipment Dismantling: Players can now dismantle unwanted equipment to receive experience stones, which can be used to enhance other equipment.
